The aviation industry faces many challenges linked to climate change, including the need to reduce its climate impact and adapt to changing weather patterns. However, the lack of accessible and user-centred tools to integrate climate considerations into decision-making has hindered progress in translating the advances in scientific research into operational changes. 

Solution 0421 consists in a software tool that integrates proof-of-concept Climate Services tailored to the needs of various aviation stakeholders. The tool equips users with actionable insights to: (1) Assess and visualise the climate impact of alternative flight operations using state-of-the-art CO2-equivalence metrics, and (2) predict operational disruptions caused by climate-change-induced weather conditions, such as high temperatures that reduce aircraft take-off performance, and suggest adaptation options to prevent harmful effects.

By transforming scientific results into user-friendly information, Solution 3 bridges the gap between climate research and everyday operations. 

Although currently a proof-of-concept, the tool aligns with the aviation industry's goals to integrate climate resilience and sustainability into daily operations.

Solution 0421 enables aviation stakeholders to make informed decisions considering climate as one of the relevant factors, contributing to a safer, more efficient, and environmentally sustainable sector.
