The SESAR JU ENSURE project (Dutch Cluster) is organising an open day to showcase the results of validation activities conducted between 2023 and 2026 by NLR, in cooperation with the Royal Netherlands Navy, on an air traffic management (ATM) operational solution for dynamic airspace reconfiguration (DAR) in a highly complex environment (Schiphol Approach).

DAR is an ATM-executed process to dynamically delegate responsibility for control of airspace volumes between ATM and U-space based on user demand. It is executed by an additional ATC role in charge of managing the DAR airspace changes.

Attendees will be informed about the ENSURE project and NLR's contributions and activities. They will also experience a demonstration of the developed interfaces for airspace management and air traffic controllers on the NLR ATM Research Simulation platform, NARSIM.
