HAVEN aims to demonstrate the next generation of air traffic services platform for en-route and terminal manoeuvring area operations. Involving industry partners and European air navigation service providers, it addresses artificial intelligence, open architecture, flexible deployment, cloud-based air traffic management, trajectory-based operations, demand–capacity balancing, and environmentally friendly operations, while considering safety, cyber-security, standardisation and certification.

The project delivers two technological solutions: Solution 1 supports advanced operational concepts in en-route and terminal manoeuvring area operations, including trajectory-based operations, demand–capacity balancing, and civil/military coordination, validated through real-time simulations with controllers; Solution 2 focuses on next-generation architecture and deployment, assessing impacts of the new service delivery model and enabling cloud-ready, flexible deployment. Third-party service interoperability will be tested through cross-project experiments.
