Tour 11: Air-ground connectivity - enabling digital communications and new airspace operations

Air-ground connectivity is a critical enabler of the future ATM system, supporting more reliable data exchange, advanced communications and the integration of new types of airspace users – including those operating in higher airspace.

Through demonstrations from ANSPs, industry and research partners, participants will explore solutions enabling innovative air traffic control concepts, enhanced system interoperability and improved communication between aircraft and ground systems. The tour also highlights how improved connectivity will support the safe integration of emerging operations, including high-altitude platforms and future aerospace vehicles.
