The 2026 edition of the SESAR Innovation Days (SIDs) will be hosted by University College Cork (UCC), in Ireland.
Over the years, the SESAR Innovation Days have become a landmark event in the European aviation research calendar, bringing together researchers, industry experts, policymakers and academics to showcase cutting-edge research and innovation in air traffic management (ATM).
Why attend?
Unlike other scientific ATM conferences, the SESAR Innovation Days place a strong emphasis on exploratory research and open knowledge exchange, providing a unique platform for participants to:
- Share cutting-edge ATM research results and methodologies
- Showcase the latest SESAR research, approaches and innovations
- Foster collaboration between academia and industry
- Engage in open knowledge exchange
- Explore exciting demonstrations and technical exhibits
- Participate in site visits to leading aviation partners in the Cork region
Networking sessions, poster exhibitions, and interactive demos will offer plenty of opportunities to connect with like-minded experts and discover innovative solutions to real-world ATM challenges.
In addition, this year’s edition will once again host the prestigious SESAR Young Scientist Award, recognising outstanding contributions by early-career researchers in ATM and aviation-related fields.
